Card gambling or poker intuition ?

Ultimately a win is not guaranteed in poker before the community cards are all visible. A low or high pair of pocket cards could win the pot, noone knows, it’s that gamble that many players take to win a pot. This ia an excellent example in poker of a lower odds connected pair of cards against the better odds of the higher handed pocket cards and yet the lower handed player is confident even though the odds are stacked against him. Generally many hands dealt in poker will be off suit and non pairs. Many players play a tight game where they wait for the high cards and the pairs to try and have a better chance of winning the cash in the pot. As poker is also a game of chance as well as gambling, players will try to guess what cards will come out next and sometimes the results can be very impressive even though a gamble as nothing is guaranteed.
In poker, very often it’s the last community card dealt that will win the pot and often when a player is all in, bingo, it can push them out of the game even when they may have been ahead and winning most of the way through the hand.
Middle of the road pocket cards benefit in play as open ended as a card can be added either end to help make a winning hand in a card game. High cards are restricted in this way and pairs are more likely if offsuit. See what happens.
